In order to encourage more talents to actively invest in the research and development of precision engineering, the “2018 4th Spintech Technology Thesis Award” jointly sponsored by Spintech Precision Machinery Co., Ltd. and National Chung Hsing University will be held at the Fuhua Hotel in Kenting on August 6th.

The competition was very fierce. The registration of colleges and universities across the country was also very enthusiastic. The number of teams entering the finals exceeded that of previous years. Among them, there were 34 teams in the “College Competition”. The “General University Science and Technology Paper Competition” was the same as the “Science and Technology University Paper Competition”. There are 30 teams, and the “High-Speed ​​Spindle Innovation Application Competition” has 3 teams. A total of 97 teams will enter the finals. It is estimated that more than 500 outstanding elites will participate in the event.

Professor Li-Chun Wang and his students Chia-Yu Lin and Chih-Ping Weng won the Silver Award in the General University Science and Technology Paper Competition with “QUART: Quantized RNN Autoencoder for Time-Series Anomaly Detection in Machine Tools”.
